Your music deserves to look as good as it sounds. That’s why we’re pleased to offer our specialized print and binding service for all of your sheet music reproduction needs.
Our highly knowledgeable library staff are also composers, performers, and music engravers, so you can rely on us to turn your scores and parts into professional-quality performance materials.
We now also offer stapled booklet-style printing, suitable for small study scores and for concert programs, on folded 8.5x11 or 11x17 sheets. Need your scores right away? Not a problem! In most cases we can offer same-day delivery. We can also arrange shipping to anywhere in the world.

Paper Stock
We use high-quality, cream-coloured 80# paper. For score covers, we can print in full, vibrant colour on both sides of card-stock. You can choose from a variety of paper sizes.
Paper Type | Size | For… |
---|---|---|
Letter | 8.5″ x 11″ | Small chamber scores, smaller parts. |
A4 | 8.27″ × 11.69″ | Small chamber scores, small parts |
Legal | 8.5″ x 14″ | Orchestral study scores |
JB4 | 10.12″ x 14.33″ | Standard orchestral parts, small conductor’s scores |
A3 | 11.7″ x 16.5″ | Large conductor’s orchestral scores |
Ledger/Tabloid | 11″ x 17″ | Large conductor’s orchestral scores |
Binding
We offer two types of binding. For scores, including study scores, we use an elegant pewter metal coil that can accommodate up to about 100 sheets. For individual instrumental parts of fewer than 10 sheets, we use a high-quality, one-inch, cloth-based Micropore medical tape. Our unique taping method allows for a durable, firm hold of the paper, yet the part can also be easily disassembled if necessary, with no danger of tearing the music.
Prices
The cost of printing and binding your material is determined by the page count and paper size of your score and/or parts, and your desired binding method.

All Others | $0.35 per side |
Tape Binding | $1.00 per part |
Coil Binding | $4.00 per binding |

Send PDFs of your scores and/or parts via email to our workshop at the Canadian Music Centre in Vancouver. Be sure to include the details of your job, including desired paper size(s), numbers of parts, and any special instructions you’d like us to observe. We’re happy to provide a detailed quote before completing the job — just ask!
Please note that we cannot accept notation software files (Sibelius, Finale, etc.), nor can we do any editing or additional engraving of your music. Please submit only printer-ready PDFs. And when preparing your documents, don’t forget to take into account any page turns that might be required.
